Miles Canyon Full Day Paddling Adventure, Guided or Self Guided

Canoe Through the Yukon’s Most Breathtaking Canyon!

Paddle Through History – Yukon River Canoe Adventure

Step into the boots of the gold rush adventurers as you embark on a thrilling canoe journey down the legendary Yukon River! Starting at Marsh Lake, we follow the historic routes of the Klondike gold seekers, gliding past relics of a bygone era. A stop at Canyon City unveils the challenges of 1898, where fortune-hunters battled the wild waters on their quest for gold.

As we near our journey’s end, we take on Miles Canyon, once a treacherous rapid that crushed many dreams. Though tamed by the Whitehorse dam, its towering cliffs and emerald waters remain an awe-inspiring spectacle.

Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up in Whitehorse, followed by a scenic drive along the Alaska Highway to Marsh Lake Bridge, our launch point. After expert instruction from your guide, we set off down the famous Yukon River, stopping midway for a hearty wilderness lunch before paddling toward Schwatka Lake in Whitehorse.

Choose your adventure with guided or self-guided options—explore at your own pace or let an experienced guide bring the river’s history and nature to life.
