Fish Lake Wilderness Hike – A Yukon Adventure
Just outside Whitehorse, yet deep in the heart of the wilderness, the Fish Lake Trail offers an unforgettable day hike through the traditional lands of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation.
Starting at 1,420 meters—roughly 800 meters above Whitehorse—the trail leads us above the treeline within 45 minutes, revealing breathtaking views of Fish Lake below. We continue along a scenic ridge, winding across the east side before ascending a gentle summit. Here, we’ll pause for lunch with panoramic views of Fish Lake and the shimmering Bonneville Lakes beyond.
